Some USB-based Egate projectors use DisplayLink chips, which have open-source Linux drivers ( evdi module). For touch and serial, you may need to compile drivers from GitHub. Basic HDMI/VGA works without drivers. Works as expected – but installation requires attention
Look for a sticker on the projector with the (e.g., Egate V10 , Egate S9 , Egate Mini Z1 ). Search for "[Model Number] driver" . egate projector driver
