If you’re a completionist of the Lake Placid series or a fan of creature features, Legacy is an acceptable way to spend 90 minutes. It doesn’t reach the schlocky charm of Lake Placid vs. Anaconda (2015), but the underground bunker concept adds novelty. Katherine Barrell’s performance as the practical leader stands out, and the final 20 minutes offer decent suspense.
