Several official and unofficial uploads of Bhooter Bhabishyat exist on YouTube. However, the are notoriously bad for Bengali dialect. Look for videos marked with "CC" that specify "Manual Captions" or "Community Contributions." As of 2024-2025, the official channel Sony AATH or Hoichoi (streaming platform) sometimes includes professional subtitles.

In the pantheon of Bengali cinema, few films have achieved the cult status, relentless quotability, and cross-generational adoration of Anik Dutta’s 2012 masterpiece, Bhooter Bhabishyat (literally, “The Future of the Ghosts” or more aptly, “Ghosts’ Prognosis”). At its surface, it is a comedy-horror film about a group of displaced ghosts fighting to save their haunted mansion from a greedy real estate developer.
