Should you upgrade? RE:Vision has released v7 and v8 since 6.4.4. However, many studios stick with v6.4.4 because:
In the real world, cameras—and the human eye—do not freeze time in discrete intervals. They accumulate light over an exposure period. This results in motion blur: the smearing of moving objects across the frame. Without this blur, high-frame-rate or computationally generated footage feels hyper-real, clinical, and jarringly unnatural. RSMB v6.4.4 exists to bridge this gap, artificially introducing the organic "imperfection" of motion blur into the sterile perfection of digital renders. ReelSmart Motion Blur RSMB v6.4.4.zip
