While cheating can alleviate frustration, remember that Romancing SaGa 2 is designed around loss and succession. If you give yourself infinite HP, you may miss out on the unique "Final Emperor" mechanics and the emotional weight of passing your soul to the next generation.
Use it carefully. I recommend only toggling formations and spark rate (set to 2.0x, not 100%).
