Unlike the console versions, which were mission-based, the PSP game offers a semi-open world. You can fly freely around a stylized version of Metropolis, complete with skyscrapers, bridges, and civilians. The sense of speed—using the analog stick to rocket through the air—was impressive for 2006.

Originally planned to launch alongside the console and handheld versions of the movie tie-in, the PSP project was scrapped by EA Tiburon

The game is designed for short bursts. Each mission typically lasts 5–10 minutes, making it perfect for commuting or breaks.
