Western Europe is perpetually under construction. The A86 Duplex in Paris (a tunnel for through-traffic), the new Genoa bridge (Ponte San Giorgio), and the upgraded A8 Autobahn in Germany are not on older maps. Relying on v3.0 maps might cause your sat nav to "drive through fields" or, worse, direct you onto a closed road.
