Days turned to a rhythm of small rituals. Morning coffee, three pages in the journal, freelance tasks, and an evening that always concluded with the bathtub. As she wrote, characters emerged: Mira, a bicycle mechanic who painted miniature planets on helmets; Jonah, a stooped librarian who collected lost keys; Luc, a traveling barista who never learned to stay.
