For the uninitiated, Hello Neighbor is a stealth horror game developed by Dynamic Pixels and published by tinyBuild. Instead of jump scares, the game relies on psychological tension. You play as a curious kid trying to break into your neighbor’s basement, only to discover that the Neighbor is an adaptive AI. He learns from your moves. If you use the front door twice, he’ll put a bear trap there. If you climb the fence, he’ll build a wall.
