Released in March 2016, The Division is set in a near-future New York City after a smallpox-like bioweapon spreads via paper currency on Black Friday. As a sleeper agent activated under “Directive 51,” your job is to restore order, investigate the source of the virus, and fight enemy factions — Rikers prisoners, Cleaners (flamethrower-wielding sanitation workers), Rioters, and the tactical LMB.
